Why Pavilion?

As the daughter and granddaughter of public servants (and a recent local government employee myself), I have seen firsthand the capacity of government agencies to deliver public good. And I have also seen how bureaucracy can get in the way of that. I am thrilled to be a part of the dynamic team at Pavilion, working to unjam public procurement processes, because I know what a big impact this can make. By empowering public servants to deliver on big promises, we can expand opportunities for a more diverse set of businesses and improve outcomes for all of us whose lives are touched by those services. It is exciting to work with such a smart, ambitious, and creative team as we drive towards that mission.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Over the last few years, I have channeled my “former theater kid energy” into improv comedy. Not only is it a great outlet, but it has been a fun way to build community as I’ve moved to new places - initially in D.C., then in Kansas City where I lived for the last few years, and now in my new home in SF.

What’s something you’re not good at, but working on?

Plant care. I have taken my recent move to San Francisco as an opportunity to start fresh with plants. Since past experience has shown I don’t have a natural intuition for plant needs, I’ve downloaded a plant care app to help me stay on track…check back in a few months and we’ll see how they are doing!
